Julia Drachman is an artist based in Seattle working across various types of media. From embroidery to podcasting, she approaches each medium with her ineluctable blend of humor and sincerity.
Embroidered art
Using her sense of humor and intuition as a guide, Julia collages and embellishes found items with embroidery.
Tabletop games
Along with Doug Beyers, her husband and partner, Julia designs and publishes tabletop games under the name Bad Cat Media.
Drawing
Julia’s first artistic love was figure drawing and portraiture.

When Julia’s brother set out to hike the Pacific Crest Trail in 2019, she asked him the dreaded question, “Can I make a podcast about it?” Amazingly, he said, “Fine.”
